State has submitted a report which reflects that on the basis of the complaint, a specific case being Singur PS Case No. 325 of 2025 was registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of the BNS, 2023.

The report also reflects that a notice under Section 35(3) of the BNSS was served upon the private respondent(s).

However, the private respondent(s) on or about 15.07.2025 surrendered before the jurisdictional court and obtained bail.

Having regard to the fact particularly with regard to the prayers which have been advanced and the steps which have been taken by the police authorities, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15412 of 2025 is disposed of.
