Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

The petitioners claim to be recorded owners of the plot in question which was acquired in a land acquisition proceeding being LA No.30/1963-64. No compensation was paid to the petitioners for the same.

The petitioners seek liberty to submit a comprehensive representation before the concerned authority ventilating their grievance and pray for a direction upon the concerned authority to consider the representation at the earliest and pay adequate compensation in their favour.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to submit such representation before the 2nd respondent within two weeks from date. The 2nd respondent shall consider and dispose of the said representation within a period of two months from the date of receipt thereof after granting reasonable

opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioners, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioners within a week thereof. With the above observations and directions this writ petition being WPA 16208 of 2017 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
