1. We are not presently disturbing the present order issued by the Director of Disaster Management, West Bengal for public interest. However, we would request the Director of Disaster Management, West Bengal, to reconsider application of the appellant on medical ground of his mother, if it is permissible under the Rules, within a period of eight weeks from date.

2. The appeal and the application are, accordingly, disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

3. The report of the Director of Disaster Management, West Bengal is kept with the record.

4. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
