1. The revisional application has been preferred by the wife/petitioner praying for transfer of Matrimonial Suit no. 52 of 2017, under Section 13(1), (ia), (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 from the Court of learned Family Court at Calcutta to the Court of learned District Judge, Howrah.

2. On hearing the learned counsels for the parties and on perusal of the materials on record, it appears that the Mat. Suit has been filed in the Family Court at Calcutta by the husband/opposite party herein.

3. The petitioner herein resides at Golabari, Howrah.

4. Considering the distance between the two Courts being only 5 kms, the prayer for transfer stands rejected.

5. CO 2088 of 2023 is disposed of.
