Mr. Arnab Das Mr. Soumya Majumder Mr. Amritam Mandal Mr. Sushant Biswakarma ......for the petitioners Mr. Susanta Pal Mr. Prabir Kumar Ray ..... for the State After hearing learned counsel, the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction on the Assistant Engineer, Joynagar Sub-Division, South 24 Parganas to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 28th June, 2022 by way of a reasoned order and after giving hearing to all interested parties including the petitioner within a period of six weeks from today. A letter handed over by learned counsel appearing for the State dated 19th July, 2022 from the Assistant Engineer to BL&LRO, South 24 Parganas asking for demarcation of the schedule land in the presence of the petitioner is kept on record. Counsel submits that the Assistant Engineer has not heard from the BL&LRO till date. The authority concerned is directed to take this fact and the letter into account.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case.
