The petitioner renews his prayer for bail which was rejected on merits, as recently as on May 6, 2024, by a coordinate Bench in CRM (NDPS) 774 of 2024. The petitioner says that a very important document being a Deed of Agreement whereby the petitioner sold the concerned car to another person, was not brought to the attention of the Court.

We have seen that document. Prima facie it does not inspire credence. In any event, this point will be open for the petitioner to argue at the trial. We also notice that the coordinate Bench recorded in the earlier order of rejection that the petitioner was absconding for a long time.

In view of much more than commercial quantity of phensedyl having been seized, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. The application being CRM (DB) 1009 of 2024 is dismissed.
