Charge sheet has been submitted. He has been falsely implicated. He was not found at the place of occurrence at the time of the incident. He prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. The petitioner appears to be the master mind of a racket which conspired to murder the victim and ultimately the work was executed by three shooters who were appointed by the brother in law of the petitioner at his behest. The offending weapons have been recovered from the petitioner's house pursuant to his leading statement. Debit of Rs.5.00 lakhs from the bank account of the petitioner corroborates his statement given in course of investigation.

Considering the extent of involvement of the petitioner in the alleged offence, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. The bail application is disposed of.
