The petitioner has retired as the Headmaster of Arjuni High School (H.S.), Debra, Paschim Medinipur on superannuation on September 30, 2020.

Mitra, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that though the initial grievance of the petitioner was delay in disbursement of his retiral benefits, but during the pendency of the writ petition, the Deputy Secretary, School Education Department, Government of West Bengal, vide the Memo bearing No.

159-SE(S)/5P-40/2022 dated February 07, 2023 has condoned the delay in refunding the Government's share of C.P.F.

including interest, the said Memo is annexed with the supplementary affidavit and in pursuance thereof, the pension payment order

in favour of the petitioner was issued on March 31, 2023. He files photocopy of the said pension payment order, let it be kept with the record. In view of the aforesaid development, the grievance of the petitioner has almost been addressed.

W.P. 16287 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the concerned Treasury Officer, Medinipur, District-Paschim Medinipur, the respondent no.6 herein to disburse the pension and other admissible dues of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
