The report filed by learned counsel for the WBSEDCL be kept on record.

It is seen from the said report and it appears from the submission of learned counsel for the WBSEDCL that an alternative route through a public road maintained by the local Panchayat has been located to give the relevant electricity connection to the petitioner.

As such, there cannot be any further dispute in that regard between the petitioner and the private respondent no.7.

Accordingly, WPA 16289 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL to effect the electricity connection to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a fortnight from the date of compliance of all formalities by the petitioner or from this order, whichever is later.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
