Copy of a notice regarding special checking of examination papers dated 25.06.2024, as filed on behalf of the University, is also taken on record.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner was a student of B.Com (Hons). He had failed in the subject of corporate account on two occasions. He opted for review, but the prayer was rejected. In the meantime, he has already taken admission in MBA course at the IIISWBM. However, special checking of the answer script has not yet been done by the University. The petitioner has also made an application in the RTI, which is pending.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University relies on a notice regarding special checking of papers and

submits that if an application has been made for special checking within the stipulated time, such review will be done at the earliest.

Let the University authorities undertake the review and/or special checking of examination paper of the petitioner for the said subject at the earliest, preferably, within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of this order. The RTI application shall also be disposed of at the earliest and in accordance with law.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
