However, quantification of interest is disputed by the learned advocate representing the applicant.

In view of payment of interest in terms of the order dated 19th March, 2024 contempt application is disposed of and contempt proceeding stands dropped.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to raise dispute regarding quantification of interest before the appropriate authority in accordance with law. (Saugata Bhattacharyya, J.)
