Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record including statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. From her statement it appears petitioner had kidnapped and taken her to a different State.

In view of aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
