The petitioner complains of threat and intimidation by the private respondents.

Admittedly, there is bad blood between the petitioner and her neighbour i.e. the private respondents.

In respect of any incident of assault on the petitioner and her daughter, FIR No. 265 of 2023 dated May 23, 2023 has been registered.

The private respondents have filed a counter complaint, which is registered as FIR No. 266 of 2023 dated May 23, 2023.

The petitioner has complained to the Superintendent of Police, Ranaghat Police

District on June 7, 2023 that she has been threatened and intimidated by the private respondents.

The Superintendent of Police, Ranaghat Police District may consider such representation and take steps in accordance with law.

It is ordered that the Investigating Officer in respect of FIR Nos. 265 and 266 of 2023 shall complete the investigation, within a period of 2 months from date, mandatorily and positively. 8.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

9.

There shall be no order as to costs.

10.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
