This matter was fixed today for a report from the Howrah Zilla Parishad. The Zilla Parishad was directed to demarcate the unauthorized portions upon holding an inspection in the presence of the parties. Such report along with the map, has been filed before the Court. The report is self-explanatory. Copies of the report be served upon the learned advocate for the petitioner as also the learned advocate for the respondent no.7. The court is satisfied with the report.

The petitioner undertakes to demolish the unauthorized portions as indicated in the report and the sketch map. Such demolition shall be carried out by the

petitioner within three weeks from date in the presence of an assistant engineer of the Howrah Zilla Parishad. Such demolition work shall be supervised by the said authority. A compliance report shall be filed before the Zilla Parishad. The Zilla Parishad shall satisfy itself about the demolition and if it is found that further portions, as per the report, was required to be demolished, then necessary actions shall be taken. The Zilla Parishad shall take all steps in accordance with law, to ensure that the unauthorized structures are demolished.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the learned advocate's communication.
