Samarendra Pal, Sub Inspector of Police, Hooghly has submitted a report dated 19th February, 2024 and the same is taken on record.

It appears that there have been attempts to create disturbance in the writ petitioner's land from time to time. GD Entries have been made.

This Court directs the Officer-in-Charge, Jangipara Police Station to register a formal FIR in respect of the complaints already filed and any further complaint the writ petitioner may file pursuant to this order.

Let a police picket comprising of two armed constables be made for a period of ten days at the writ petitioner's land. All complaints even after registration of FIR from the writ petitioner shall be attended to promptly by the Jangipara Police Station.

Any further order passed by Civil Court shall also be complied with by the Jangipara Police.

6.

Accordingly, the contempt application shall stand disposed of.

7.

Personal presence of the alleged contemnor, if any, is dispensed with.

8.

Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

9.

There will be no order as to costs.

10.

Interim orders, if any, shall stand vacated.

11.

All parties are to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court.
