Mr. Ayanabha Raha Mr. Abhisek Addhya ...for the petitioner Mr. Sirsanya Bandippadhyay Mr. Arka Kumar Nag ........for the State The petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the Panchayat Returning Officer and Block Development Officer, Mayureswar-I Development Block on 26th June, 2023 rejecting the prayer of the petitioner permitting her to contest the Panchayat Election, 2023.

It appears that the said order was allegedly passed in compliance with the direction passed by this Court on 23rd June, 2023 in WPA 14908 of 2023. The impugned order is a detailed and reasoned one. The validity of the said reasoning ought not to be adjudicated by the writ Court. The same may be a ground for filing an election petition.

In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition stands dismissed.

Dismissal of the writ petition will not stand in the way of the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy before the competent forum in accordance with law, if so advised.
