Case No. 84 of dated 19/08/2021 under Sections 419/420/468/471/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code (corresponding to G.R. No. 990 of 2021).

Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

The application is taken up for consideration subsequent to the order dated November 18, 2021.

Supplementary affidavit filed in Court be taken on record. The police raised certain queries by a letter dated November 11, 2021. Amongst the queries, the petitioner was required to produce a copy of the agreement between Reliance Jio and the company involved. According to the petitioner there is no such agreement. The police are not in a position to say that there exists an agreement in writing. Similarly, the petitioner answered the other queries. Apparently, the disputes are civil in nature.

In such circumstances, we extend anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a Bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and on further condition that the petitioner shall meet the Investigating Officer once a month until further orders and that he shall appear before the jurisdictional Court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date. The application for anticipatory bail being C.R.M. 6599 of 2021 is, thus, disposed of.
