This is an application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband praying for a direction upon learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Fast Tract Court at Baruipur, South 24 Parganas to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No. 964 of 2022 expeditiously.

The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the matter was sent for mediation but the mediation failed. He further submits that 01.11.2025 has been fixed for appearance and for framing of issues. 2.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned Advocate on record shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with the order upon the opposite parties or upon the learned Advocate representing the opposite parties before the learned trial Judge.

From the order sheet appended to this application, this Court finds that 01.11.2025 has been fixed for appearance of the parties and for framing of the issues.

In light of the submissions made by the learned Advocate for the petitioner, CO 2424 of 2025 stands disposed of by requesting learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Fast Tract Court at Baruipur, South 24 Parganas to make an endeavour to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No. 964 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties provided to husband-petitioner is not in default in payment of alimony and maintenance.
