Rejaul Alam, ... for the respondent nos. 8 & 9 The only prayer in the writ petition is for a direction on the District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur to consider the complaint made by the petitioners on 16th March, 2022 for looking into the allegedly unauthorized entry and forcible operation of fishery in the agricultural land belonging to the petitioners. The petitioners allege violation of the provisions of The Coastal Aquaculture Authority Act, 2005 and the National Environment Policy.

The State and the private respondents are represented.

After hearing learned counsel, WPA 15589 of 2022 is disposed of with a direction on the District

Magistrate, Purba Medinipur being the respondent no. 2, to consider the complaint made by the petitioners on 16th March, 2022 and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order, considering the factual aspect and the relevant law, within a period of ten days from the date of communication of this order. A copy of the reasoned order shall be made available to the petitioners within four days from the date of passing such order. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case.

The private respondents shall file their Vakalatname in course of the day.
