Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner has alleged that the private respondent no 6 who runs a YouTube channel has posted a video in the YouTube channel maligning the petitioner. The petitioner lodged complaint before the police authority in this regard which has not been heeded to.

Learned counsel for the respondents deny and dispute the allegations made by the petitioner.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, this Court is inclined to direct the police authority to take steps in respect of the complaint lodged by the petitioner and if any cognizable offence appears to have been made out, to register a specific case and investigate the same in accordance with law.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
