The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of the subject Sanskrit at Dakshin Khejuri Bani Mancha High School, District : Purba Medinipur, she applied for general transfer through the 'Utsashree Portal'on the grounds of her ailments and that the distance between her residence and the school is more than 228 kilometres.

The School authority has refused to issue required 'No-Objection' to the said prayer of the petitioner on the grounds that she has not yet completed five(5) years of continuous service in the school and that she is the single teacher of the subject in the said school, consequently the West Bengal Central School Service Commission has rejected the application of the petitioner. Mr.

Lahiri, learned Counsel for the petitioner strenuously argues that the grounds of rejection are not sustainable.

Be that as it may, the 'Utsashree Portal' is now under suspension, as such the prayer of the petitioner for general transfer cannot be considered at this stage, WPA 15241 of 2023 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
