No specific role can be attributed to the petitioner. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention to the statement of the eye witness recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. One of the eye witnesses recording a statement under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicates the petitioner in the alleged offence.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 3426 of 2022 is dismissed.
