Petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that in spite of Rajarhat Police Station Case No.238 of 2025 dated 26.05.2025 having been registered for investigation, but no effective steps have been taken.

State has submitted a report which reflects that another case being Rajarhat Police Station Case No.256 of 2025 dated 04.06.2025 has been registered on the basis of the information submitted by the Principal of NIC Institute of Technology. The said report also reflects that a civil suit has been instituted being Title Suit No.747 of 2025 which is pending before the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Barasat.

Having regard to the fact that the civil court is already in seisin of the dispute in relation to the property, any breach of the order of the civil court would be addressed by the concerned court. So far as the police authorities are concerned, they would ensure that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place at the locale and/or any untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the petitioners and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 15190 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
