1. Matter relates to grievance of the petitioners based on response to RTI application made by the respondent authorities.

On hearing the learned advocate representing the petitioners it appears that the issue relates to filling up post of non teaching staff in a Government aided school in 2007 and it is submitted that in 2007 petitioners applied for being considered for the posts of non teaching staff in the school in question.

2. In terms of the relevant rules school authority is not authorized to fill up the posts of non teaching staff from 2009 onwards and appropriate authority is the West Bengal Central School Service Commission to initiate selection process for filling up the posts of non teaching staff in Government aided secondary and higher secondary schools. However, if petitioners have any grievance relating to response made by SPIO, petitioners shall be at liberty to take steps in terms of

the relevant provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

3. Writ petition stands disposed of.
