1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. Taking into consideration the seriousness of allegation, supportive evidence to corroborate the version of the victim as recorded under Sections 161 and 164 Cr.P.C., we are not inclined to exercise our discretion under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in favour of the petitioner, though it is submitted with vehemence that the petitioner is a man of 28 years old and the victim is a married lady of 38 years old with children.

3. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

4. CRM(A) 2696 of 2023 is dismissed.
