Leave is granted to the petitioner to amend the cause title of the main application and also the CRAN application. Pursuant to the order passed by this court on 13th December, 2021, a report has been submitted by the Investigating Officer of the Shakespeare Sarani Police Station which reflects that chargesheet has already been filed in connection with Shakespeare Sarani Police Station case No. 266 of 2018 dated October 11, 2018. The said charge-sheet was submitted under Section 498A/406/34 of the Indian

Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the D. P. Act before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Calcutta.

A joint compromise petition has also been filed being CRAN 1 of 2021.

Paragraphs 6 to 12 of the present application reflects that the intention of the complainant who do not intend to pursue with the proceedings arising out of Shakespeare Sarani Police Station Case No. 266 of 2018 dated October 11, 2018 which is presently before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Calcutta.

In view of the contentions and the compromise arrived at between the parties, I am of the opinion that the further continuance of the proceedings which arose out of a matrimonial discord are not warranted any further. Accordingly, all proceedings relating to Shakespeare Sarani Police Station Case No. 266 of 2018 corresponding to G. R. Case No. 1467 of 2018 pending before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Calcutta and all consequent orders passed therein are, hereby, quashed.

Thus, the connected application being CRAN 1 of 2021 along with criminal revisional jurisdiction being CRR 2058 of 2021 is allowed.

All pending applications, if any in connection with both the revisional applications, are consequently disposed of.

Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
