Mr. Bhaskar Mukherjee, Ms. Debjani Ghosh ...for the petitioner A direction to secure expeditious disposal of a claim case being M.A.C.C. Case No.27 of 2003, before the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, 14th Court, Alipore, is the ultimate relief sought for in this case.

The only contention expressed by the petitioner/claimant is against the delay caused in the disposal of the claim case.

No other point is raised requiring address by this Court.

In view of the nature of order proposed to be made in this case, no prior notice is considered to be necessary.

Service upon the opposite party stands dispensed with.

Accordingly, learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, 14th Court, Alipore, in M.A.C.C. Case No.27 of 2003, is requested to ensure expeditious disposal of

claim case, providing sufficient opportunity of hearing to either of the parties to this case, but without granting any unnecessary adjournment, unless it is extremely unavoidable.

While endeavouring such exercise, the year of institution of the claim case may be taken into account, and in context thereof, the court below may proceed with the disposal of the case, so as to dispense with the justice in a most expeditious manner. With this observation/direction, the revisional application stands disposed of.

Petitioner is directed to make communication of this order to the learned court below as well as to the opposite party and his learned advocate in the court below.
