The writ petition is directed against an order dated DL-16 12.07.2023 Court No.5 (AD) April 28, 2023 passed by the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal.

By the impugned order, the Tribunal directed the records of the case to be put up on August 16, 2023. Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, there subsists an order dated August 14, 2019 passed by the Tribunal directing payment of costs by the writ petitioners. The Tribunal also directed the writ petitioners to show-cause. The petitioner also paid the costs. He submits that, the writ petitioners filed show-cause in terms of the order dated August 14, 2019. The same is yet to be heard. He submits that, the Tribunal may be directed to decide on the show-cause on the next date, that is, August 16, 2023.

By the impugned order, the Tribunal directed the matter to be listed on August 16, 2023. No doubt, the Tribunal will consult the records and will take appropriate steps including deciding the show-cause as deemed appropriate.

With the aforesaid observations, WPLRT 78 of 2023 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
