Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that on 29th July, 2025 interim bail was granted in favour of the petitioner on the ground that the DNA profiling report excluded the petitioner as the biological father of the foetus. On the said date, there was submission made on behalf of the de facto complainant that he will challenge the DNA profiling by taking appropriate steps, however, no steps have been taken till date. He seeks for confirmation of interim bail.

Learned Advocate for the de facto complainant submits that he is out of station, for which reason steps could not be taken.

In view of such submission, interim order of bail granted earlier on 29th July, 2025 is extended till 14th November, 2025 or until further order, whichever is earlier. 4.

State is directed to file status report on the returnable date.

List this matter on 7th November, 2025.
