Petitioner approached this Court being aggrieved by the inaction of the police and the same was even after informing whole of the administration including the Inspector-in-Charge, Arambagh Police Station. Learned advocate submits that a criminal case was registered on 1st February, 2025 being Arambagh Police Station Case No.53 of 2025. The construction which was in progress was in violation of court's order and has also been stalled for the time being.

Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the private respondent nos.7 and 8 submits that the respondents appeared before the court and have

been granted bail. So far as the accusations regarding the construction is concerned, the same has been denied.

Mr. Mitra, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the police authorities have taken stern steps and there are no issues relating to construction or violation of any directions of court. Be that as it may, the present situation reflects that the parties do not complain regarding any infraction of law for the time being. Police authorities, therefore, are directed that they would continue their surveillance and ensure that there is no illegality further committed on the issues canvassed in the writ petition.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 16305 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
