Report received from the Office of the learned Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta be kept with the record. Report reflects that examination of PW16 is in progress. Learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submits that two/three witnesses are left to be examined and the prosecution intends to complete the same on the scheduled dates fixed by the learned trial Court.

Considering that the evidences of the prosecution witnesses are at the fag-end, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 993 of 2025 is dismissed.

State would ensure production of the witnesses on the date so fixed by the learned trial Court.

Learned trial Court is directed to pronounce the verdict of the case by 15th of March, 2026.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
