Mr. Sen appearing for the RTA, Paschim Burdwan hands over to the Court the written instructions by the Regional Transport Officer, Paschim Burdwan dated September 19, 2024. In the same, the concerned authority has indicated about having already undertaken for issuance of temporary permit to the petitioner. Let the same be taken on record.

Pursuant to this Court's order dated August 19, 2024, Mr. Sen submits that the respondent has started following up the Court's order, directing grant of temporary permit provisionally, to the petitioner, during pendency of this case. It is stated that the same is under process and shall be expeditiously issued. He has also sought for time for filing affidavit-in-opposition.

Let affidavit-inopposition be filed by the respondent within a period of two weeks after vacation. Affidavit-in-reply thereto, if any, be filed by the petitioner within a week thereafter.

Mr. Sen is requested to furnish a current status report as regards the issuance of temporary permit to the petitioner in terms of this Curt's previous order, in the next week i.e. on 25th September, 2024.
