Mr. Rameshwar Sinha ...... for the Petitioner It is the grievance of the petitioner that he is a beneficiary under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Although funds were sanctioned in his name under the said scheme, he has not received any payment from the concerned authority for the construction of his house. It is further submitted that the amount so sanctioned in his favour was wrongly remitted to one Mirazul Hoque. The said Mirazul Hoque has not been impleaded as a party to the present writ petition. However, it appears from the record that the petitioner submitted a representation before the Block Development Officer, pursuant to which a meeting was convened on April 24, 2025, to resolve the issue.

However, it does not appear that any decision was taken by the Block Development Officer subsequent to the said meeting.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Block Development Officer, Rampurhat-II, Moragram,

Birbhum, to take a reasoned decision in the matter within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned. Accordingly, WPA 15253 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
