This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the non-consideration of his representation dated August 23, 2021.

After hearing learned Counsel for the appearing parties I direct the Regional Transport Authority, Kolkata being respondent no.2 to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated August 23, 2021 and after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner pass a reasoned order within eight weeks from date. The reasoned order is to be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of passing of such reasoned order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavit has been called for, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be handed over to the parties on usual undertaking. (Shekhar B. Saraf, J.)
