The petitioner alleges that the nomination papers of the private respondent were illegally accepted by the Commission.

Complaint was lodged before the Commission on 19th June, 2023 and the same has been replied by the Commission mentioning that the matter is being looked for taking necessary action.

Petitioner alleges that no action has been taken by the Commission till date.

It is noticed that the election was scheduled to be held on 8th July, 2023. It is too late in the day to accept

the prayer of the petitioner seeking cancellation of the candidature of the private respondent.

It will be open for the petitioner to approach before the appropriate forum for relief, if so advised. The writ petition stands disposed of.
