The police authorities have stated that no steps had been taken to send the viscera to the Director of FSL, Kolkata for examination and report, as there was no such direction from the doctor conducting the post mortem. The post-mortem report recorded that the death was due to injuries anti-mortem in nature. On such submissions and as no one appears for the petitioner, let the matter be dismissed for default.
