Mr. Prasun Kr. Dutta, learned advocate, who usually appears for the State, is requested to appear in this case. Let the appointment of Mr. Dutta be regularised. It appears that the learned Magistrate in the Court below issued a warrant of arrest in view of the absence of the petitioner on February 25, 2020.

Mr. Angshuman Chakraborty, learned advocate, appearing for the petitioner that, the petitioner is willing to surrender before the learned Magistrate within two months from date. Without going into any other aspects of the matter, I dispose of this revisional application directing the petitioner to surrender before the learned Magistrate in the Court below within a period of two months from date.

The warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner shall remain stayed for two months from date.

If the petitioner surrenders within the time as specified above, the learned Magistrate shall consider the prayer for bail of the petitioners in accordance with law. If the petitioner fails to surrender before the learned Magistrate within the stipulated time period, the learned Magistrate will execute the warrant of arrest in accordance with law.

Accordingly, CRR 2060 of 2021 is disposed of. All parties shall act upon the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Kausik Chanda, J.)
