Ms. Puspita Saha, Advocate ......for the State This criminal appeal was filed in the year 2003 against an order of acquittal dated February 28, 2002 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Second Court in S.T. Case No. XV(7) of 2000 arising out of Golabari P.S. Case No. 123 of 1999 dated April 24, 1999 under Section 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

In spite of administrative notice being issued repeatedly upon Mr. Surojit Saha, learned Advocate, appointed as Amicus Curie in this case, is also not present today. Learned Advocate for the State is present. In view of the above and considering this is an appeal of the year 2003 against an order of acquittal, the appeal being CRA 461 of 2003 stands dismissed for default.
