The petitioner complains that the private respondents are trying to forcefully enter into her land. A complaint has been lodged with the local police and the proceedings under Section 144 of the CrPC have been taken out. There is also a civil suit pending for eviction of the private respondent No.5. Counsel for the private respondents submits that they are lawful tenants under the vendor of the petitioner.

This Court is of the view that the disputes between the parties are purely civil in nature and police have no role to play in the matter.

However, Officer-in-Charge, Bishnupur Police Station shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
