Despite service of notice, the State is not represented. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

The petitioner is concerned about the welfare of grand child, born of his daughter, who is a victim under Sections 498A/306/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Charge-sheet is stated to have been filed in the instant case.

Since the petitioner has efficacious alternative remedy before the statutory forum, he may avail the same in accordance with law.

No relief can be granted to the petitioner in this proceeding. In the event, Nakashipara Police Station receives any complaint as regards any threat to his child, the Inspector-in-charge, Nakashipara Police Station may cause appropriate investigation and take steps.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
