Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Petitioner submits that pursuant to the writ petition having been filed, petitioner with the aid and assistance of the police authorities has entered the residence.

A report has been submitted by the State which reflects that the police authorities have already registered a case being Baranagar P.S. Case No.270 of 2024 dated 01.07.2024 under the Special Act.

Petitioner claims that she is being tortured at the behest of the private respondent no.4.

In case the police authorities receive any complaint from the petitioner so far as any issue relating to torture being inflicted by the private respondent no.4, police authorities would take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 16487 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
