No.30 Rejected (SKB) CRM (A) 2724 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with NDPS Case No.107 of 2022 arising out of Englishbazar Police Station Case No.1240 of 2022 dated 05.08.2022 under Sections 21(c)/29 of the NDPS Act read with Section 27(a) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

We have considered the materials on record. Call Detailed Records (CDRs) show telephonic conversations between the petitioner and the co-accused from whom narcotics was recovered.

In view of the aforesaid materials, custodial interrogation with regard to the role of the petitioner in transportation of narcotics is necessary and this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail.
