The State of West Bengal None appears on behalf of either of the parties. This matter is pending in the list since 11.01.2023 and has been called on each day of working of this Court since that date. In spite of that no one is appearing. The petitioners are found to be not interest in this case. Therefore, the same is taken up today for disposal on merit. The petitioners have prayed for quashing of the charge-sheet dated 5th August, 2014 in connection with Karaya Police Station Case no. 193 dated 9th May, 2014. The case was lodged against the petitioners under Sections 448/427/506/114 of the Indian Penal Code, now pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, 24 Parganas (South) at Alipore.

Petitioners say that no cognizable offence is made out against them in the FIR as well as no tangible material could be made available against them during investigation.

Accordingly, the entire proceedings should be quashed. On perusal of the entire materials available on record and the grounds made up by the petitioners I am constrained to find that the grounds thereof are not sufficient and cogent enough to warrant this Court's interference into the impugned order. Hence, in my considered opinion the revision is liable to be dismissed. Criminal Revision being CRR 2021 of 2015 is dismissed.
