The petitioner has filed a matrimonial suit for Restitution of Conjugal Rights being Matrimonial Suit no. 100 of 2016 pending before the learned District Judge, Hooghly.

In the said suit an order of alimony pendente lite was passed on May 05, 2017 directing the husband/petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.5000/- (Rupees five thousand) only for the opposite party and a further sum or Rs. 5000/- (Rupees five thousand) only for the maintenance of the minor daughter of the parties.

The petitioner did not comply with the said order; as a result, the opposite party had filed the connected money Execution Case no. 168 of 2017 for realization of arrear amount of alimony pendente lite.

The learned District Judge, Hooghly by the order impugned being order no.36 dated April 01,

2024 had directed the SPIO & DY GM (HR & A), Burdwan Zone, West Bengal State Electricity Dist. Co. Ltd. to deduct a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) only from the salary of the petitioner and remit the same to the bank account of the opposite party.

The default in compliance with the order of maintenance pendente lite would attract the consequence of attachment of salary of the petitioner.

The order impugned, therefore, does not call for any interference.

C.O. 2247 of 2024 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
