A fresh report submitted by the State reflects that Malda PS Case No. 20/25 dated 02.08.2025 has been registered under the relevant provisions of law. Petitioner approached this Court as she was aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities.

Having considered that the police authorities have taken steps and the case is before the jurisdictional Court at Malda, I am of the opinion that if the petitioner is aggrieved by further action of the police authorities, petitioner would bring the same to the notice of the jurisdictional Court. In view of the steps taken and the case being registered, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, WPA 15468 of is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
