Nargis Begam. ..... petitioner.

Md. Sabir Ahmed Mr. Dhiman Banerjee ...for the petitioner.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the proceeding being M.R. Case No.149 of 2019 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Jangipur, Murshidabad. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted interim maintenance by the learned Trial Court on 22nd April, 2022 to the tune of Rs.7,000/- per month for herself and Rs.5,000/- per month for the minor daughter.

The said order was assailed before this Court and by an order passed on 7th June, 2023 in CRR 3109 of 2022 this Court affirmed the order passed by the learned Magistrate and directed the learned Magistrate to fix at least one date in every sixty days so that the trial could be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

Learned counsel submits that the said direction has not been adhered to by the learned Trial Court for which the case is still pending.

The opposite party not having complied with the order of the learned Trial Court, the petitioner filed execution cases for implementation of the order, which are also pending.

In view of the direction given by this Court in CRR 3109 of 2022, the learned Trial Court is directed to dispose of the Misc. Case being 149 of 2019 pending before him as expeditiously as possible, preferably within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

In the event the execution cases are still pending before the learned Trial Court, the said cases shall also be disposed of as expeditiously as possible.

The revisional application being CRR 2588 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
