Petitioner approached this Court being aggrieved that the representation of the petitioner was not considered.

However, State has submitted a report which reflects that pursuant to the information furnished as also the direction under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C., Khanakul P.S. Case No.163 dated 10.04.2024 was registered for investigation. At the relevant point of time when the writ petition was filed, the investigation of the said case was in progress and in course of the investigation, an application for addition of Section 326 of the Indian Penal Code was preferred before the learned ACJM, Arambagh, Hooghly.

Learned advocate for the private respondent nos. 5 to 13 submits that the respondents have been granted anticipatory bail.

Be that as it may, since the police authorities have taken steps and proceeded with the investigation of the case, I am of the view that no further order is required to be passed at this stage. Petitioner, if she is aggrieved, she would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate under the relevant provisions of law. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 16413 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
