Bhoumick ... for the respondent nos. 4-8 The petitioner is aggrieved as he is being threatened at the behest of the private respondents and, to that effect, he informed the police authorities, but no steps have been taken till date.

On the other hand, learned advocate for the private respondents submits that, the petitioner has constructed a hotel and a garage, as such, is intending to use the police authorities.

State has submitted a report which reflects that the respondent no.4 has approached the Executive Magistrate

under Section 147 of the Cr.P.C.

Be that as it may, the police authorities are directed only to see that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility taking place as also no untoward incident resulting because of the strained relationship existing between the parties.

So far as the issues relating to the land's ownership, title and usages are concerned, the police authorities will not interfere with the same until and unless they are directed by any Court of law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 16458 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocates for both the parties.
