Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the statement of the injured victim. Petitioner had assaulted the victim resulting in dismemberment of fingers from his hand.

Keeping in mind the aforesaid fact and in view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
