1. None appears on behalf of the petitioners.

2. From the record, it appears that lastly on 11.08.2026 petitioner was directed to serve notice and copy of the application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act upon the opposite party N.2 and to file affidavit of service on the next date of hearing.

3. No such affidavit of service has ever been filed in this revisional application which is pending since 2016.

4. Thus being the position, the revisional application being No. CRR 2252 of 2016 along with CRAN 1 of 2016 (Old No: CRAN 2745 of 2016) stand dismissed for default.

5. Department is directed to communicate this order to the learned Trial Court.
